On my never ending search of facts about radiation and the impact on tea, I found that the CBC website has great information. It is an interactive section that puts radiation in perspective. It addresses everything from normal radiation (we are exposed to it every day), radiation and the impact on food, exposure to radiation, health risks, and more.
Knowing that our suppliers and distributors test their teas for radiation also helps me to look forward to a good cup of Japanese green tea from this year's harvest.
